From all the positive feedback received, it appears the SPRINGFEST 2010 PARADE AND GALSTON VILLAGE FAIR held on Sunday 29th August 2010 was

....    A GREAT EVENT...

Members of the community have phoned, sms'd and emailed to congratulate us, thank us and express their hope that the SpringFest Parade and Fair will continue to be an annual event.

Monies raised for the various charities including Variety, The Children's Charity, the stall held for the local family whom tragedy touched recently, The Lions Club and the Rural Fire Service appear to be substantial.

Many families and children had a wonderful day and a special highlight was watching children in wheelchairs experience the exhilaration of motion for the first time as they enjoyed the Variety "Liberty Swing"
