Keith Jordan
Keith is a business allrounder. His career highlights are too numerous to mention, but fourteen years as a navigator and in intelligence in the RAAF plus thirty years managing trade associations gives you an idea of his abilities and the scope of his career.
When Keith decided to slow down a bit in 2005 he thought that he would take up bus driving to fill in some of his spare time. Keith is now the manager of Hillsbus Dural Depot, in charge of two hundred and thirty staff and one hundred and sixty buses. So much for slowing down a bit!
Keith is married with three adult children and has lived in Crusader Road Galston for twenty-five years.
Keith is a great supporter of the local community and has been active in local community causes and events. Two highlights are his editorship of the Galston News during which he reformatted it from a newspaper to a magazine and his eight year presidency of the Galston RFS.
Keith has a great passion for the Galston district and believes that it is extremely undervalued as a tourist destination. “It is a simple equation, more tourists means more opportunity and more business and I will work towards achieving that goal” said Keith.
When he is not ‘On the Buses’ Keith is a keen model train and aircraft enthusiast and spends time in the garden with Helen, a keen gardener and member of the Galston Garden Club.

Roger Wheelahan
Roger Wheelahan is not your average Financial Adviser. Roger’s journey to establishing his own financial planning practice, North Shore Private Clients, started as an apprentice refrigeration mechanic. Then after 10 years, took a detour through a music magazine before he completed his Diploma of Financial Advising and Diploma of Financial services. He is now coming up to his 11th year as a Financial Adviser. Roger believes that his earlier careers add to his ability to identify with ‘mums and dads’, as well as business owners, when offering advice.
Roger is focusing his practice on the Hills area and his specialty is Self-Managed Super Funds and small business proprietor Buy/Sell agreements. His philosophy is simple “In my business, it is all about integrity, service, honesty and follow through, essentially my clients are relying on me and my recommendation. It is a very personal business” Roger added.
Residing on five acres at Arcadia with his wife Danielle, they share a common love of music and the semi-rural lifestyle. Roger and Danielle can’t think of a better place to start and raise a family than the Hills. Just to keep his hand in on his past life as a refrigeration mechanic, Roger also owns The Hills Slushie Co., hiring out his Slushie machines for parties
and functions.
Roger brings to the Chamber a unique combination of ‘hands on’ tradesman experience and detailed financial knowledge.
